Job Description

We are on the lookout for a creative and skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will design and develop mechanical systems and components while collaborating closely with various engineering teams. The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD software and have a passion for engineering innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Create mechanical models and prototypes.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of designs through analysis and simulation.
  • Maintain and update design documentation.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on component specifications.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design issues.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
  • Ensure designs are cost-effective and meet project timelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of mechanical design experience
