The Early Intervention Specialist will work with children who have developmental delays to improve their skills and abilities. They will assess the child's needs and develop individualized plans for therapy and intervention.
Responsibilities
Assess children with developmental disabilities to identify strengths and areas of need.
Implement tailored intervention strategies, collaborating closely with families.
Provide direct therapy services to children and families.
Monitor and document children's progress, making necessary adjustments.
Work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate parents and caregivers on developmental strategies and resources.
Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood intervention.
Support the development of community outreach programs.
Participate in workshops and training sessions for continuous improvement.
Assist in the development of materials and resources for families.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Child Development or related field
Master's degree preferred
