Job Description

We seek a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Durban team. This role involves working with diverse patients to develop and implement individualized therapy plans aimed at improving their daily living skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient wellbeing and experience in rehabilitative therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient strengths and challenges.
• Tailor therapy programs that promote functional independence.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other therapists.
• Keep up-to-date with developments in occupational therapy.
• Offer support and resources to patients for self-management.
• Document all patient interactions and progress effectively.
• Assist in training therapy aides when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Postgraduate diploma in a relevant specialty is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
