Job Description

Join our dynamic production team as a Machine Featheredger and Reducer! You will operate machinery to reduce lumber to specified dimensions and ensure quality standards are met. We are seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on cutting and slicing machinery.
• Adjust machinery settings to meet specific lumber specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions swiftly.
• Monitor the quality of the finished product to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Assist in training new operators on machinery usage and safety protocols.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training is a plus

Experience

• Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Wood Product Knowledge
• Safety Protocols

• Ability to work flexible hours: Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
