Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support management decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bookkeeping process including invoicing and payments.
• Ensure timely submission of all tax returns and payments.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Support the Finance Manager in strategic planning and analysis.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Utilize accounting software for efficient financial management.
• Communicate with clients regarding their accounts and financial inquiries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (CA, ACCA) is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
