Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Store Manager to oversee our Port Elizabeth location. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail management, with a strong focus on team development, sales strategy, and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Direct store operations and manage team performance to meet objectives.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, encouraging ongoing development.
  • Ensure adequate store staffing levels and manage schedules effectively.
  • Track sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Engage in community relations to promote the store and increase footfall.
  • Supervise training initiatives for new staff members to ensure compliance with store policies.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers for stock management and promotions.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Retail Management or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail, with at least 2 years in a management role
