Job Description

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess clients in diverse settings.
• Design effective intervention strategies for diverse populations.
• Engage with community stakeholders to improve service access.
• Implement evidence-based practices in social work.
• Conduct training and mentoring for new staff and interns.
• Participate in case reviews and team meetings to discuss client progress.
• Implement policies and programs that promote social welfare.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community services or social work

• Crisis Intervention

Certifications

• Trauma-Informed Care certification
• Child Protection certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
• Experience in mental health support: Background in providing support for mental health challenges.
