Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in vulnerability assessment, threat analysis, and incident response strategies. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our systems and data.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve security vulnerabilities.
• Respond to and mitigate security threats.
• Implement and configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
• Work with compliance teams to ensure adherence to policies.
• Document and report all security incidents and responses.
• Perform risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree in Information Security is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity
