Job Description

EcoSolutions Ltd. is seeking a qualified Environmental Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The chosen candidate will work on a range of environmental projects, focusing on sustainability and the reduction of environmental impact. You will be involved in assessing environmental policies, conducting feasibility studies, and implementing strategies that promote environmental conservation.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments and audits.
• Provide recommendations for mitigation of environmental impacts.
• Prepare technical reports and environmental management plans.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Identify new opportunities for environmental services.
• Monitor project progress and adherence to environmental standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
• Participate in public consultation processes regarding environmental projects.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and trends.
• Train team members on environmental compliance protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master’s degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or related field
