Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Health First Pharmacy, you'll play a vital role in patient care by assisting pharmacists in dispensing medication and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires attention to detail and a passion for health.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medication under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Educate patients about their medications and potential side effects.
  • Track inventory and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Ensure that pharmacy equipment is clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist with insurance billing and patient documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to improve customer service.
  • Participate in health promotion and wellness activities.
  • Provide support during busy pharmacy hours, enhancing patient flow.
  • Assist with record keeping and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric Certificate
  • National Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
