Job Description

The Food Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food orders to customers in our vibrant restaurant environment. Candidates must be able to work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate orders, inspect presentation, and maintain high standards of food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and prioritize food orders.
  • Ensure that all food orders are complete and accurate.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen team and servers.
  • Ensure that all food is delivered to the table in a timely manner.
  • Assist with preparation of food when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Conduct regular checks for food quality and presentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric qualification or equivalent
  • Food safety and hygiene training/certification
Experience
  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems
  • Experience with inventory management
Soft Skills
  • Leadership
Languages
  • English: Fluent
