Responsibilities

• Utilize underwriting software to streamline the evaluation process.
• Assist in the development and implementation of underwriting guidelines.
• Evaluate claims history to determine appropriate coverage levels.
• Collaborate with claims departments to understand ongoing claims and their impact on underwriting.
• Prepare presentation materials for client meetings to discuss coverage options.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
• Master's degree in Finance or Risk Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting or related roles

Certifications

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
