Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial data for decision-making.
• Oversee company financial operations and compliance.
• Ensure timely submissions of financial reports.
• Conduct regular audits of financial reports.
• Train junior staff on accounting procedures.
• Assist in strategic financial planning.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Financial Reporting
• Accounting Software (Pastel, QuickBooks)
• Taxation Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication Skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• CIMA certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
