Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician in Durban, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to our patients. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pharmacists to optimize medication therapy management.
• Assist in compounding medications when necessary.
• Educate patients on medication safety and proper storage.
• Document patient interactions and ensure confidentiality.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks to improve pharmacy efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Diploma in pharmacy practice or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of pharmacy experience preferred
