Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will assist in creating an engaging learning environment, supporting educators in delivering curriculum and fostering student growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teachers to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Help students understand and complete assignments.
  • Facilitate group activities and encourage collaboration among students.
  • Assist in the implementation of various teaching strategies.
  • Support the integration of technology in the classroom.
  • Attend professional development workshops to stay current in educational practices.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate student needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Honours degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in teaching or assistance roles
