Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Civil Engineer in Pietermaritzburg. You will be responsible for managing infrastructure projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams to achieve successful completion.
  • Assess environmental impact and incorporate mitigation measures.
  • Utilize project management tools to track deliverables.
  • Deliver presentations to stakeholders regarding project status.
  • Review and approve contractor work schedules.
  • Establish good working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technical advancements.
  • Prepare budget estimates and cost analyses for projects.
  • Participate in training and development activities.
  • Foster a safety culture within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree preferably
Experience
  • 5+ years in civil engineering roles with project management experience
