Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Health Specialties Teacher at the postsecondary level. The successful candidate will be involved in teaching and assessing students, conducting impactful research, and contributing to administrative duties within the faculty.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct impactful research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Develop engaging and effective curricula for health specialities.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance on various levels.
  • Mentor junior faculty and support their professional development.
  • Lead community projects that enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Contribute to enhancements in course delivery methods.
  • Participate in faculty governance and policy-making.
  • Facilitate workshops and seminars on contemporary health issues.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for research and community projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Education or related field
  • Advanced qualification in health sciences is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of academic experience in health education.
