Job Description

We are on the hunt for a meticulous Quality Assurance Tester to join our Pretoria-based team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of software testing frameworks and methodologies, and be proficient in both manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Run manual and automated tests on various platforms, including web applications and mobile devices.
• Actively participate in agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Track test execution and defect resolution using test management tools.
• Collaborate with product owners to understand and clarify requirements.
• Generate detailed reports on testing outcomes and share findings with stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of testing strategies to improve overall software quality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or similar field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing

Technical Skills

• C# or Java
• Postman

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Advanced Software Testing Certification
• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Continuous Integration: Hands-on experience with CI tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of Security Testing: Understanding of security testing practices and tools.
