Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical design and a passion for innovative engineering solutions. Responsibilities will include designing mechanical systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project timelines and specifications are met.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize mechanical designs for a variety of applications.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to create integrated systems.
  • Evaluate new materials and technologies for engineering applications.
  • Document design processes and maintain engineering records.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
  • Support field operations and provide technical assistance as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and project management
