We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Worker to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves caring for children, planning activities, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for their development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities and routines for children.
• Foster positive relationships with children to support their emotional health.
• Prepare reports about children's activities and areas of progress.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
• Implement safety protocols to safeguard children.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Qualification in Early Childhood Development is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a childcare environment

• Curriculum Development

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR Certification
• Child Care Nutrition Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
• Background in education or teaching: Experience or qualification in early childhood education.
