Job Description

As a Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality axle components. Your responsibilities will include operating turning machines, interpreting technical specifications, and maintaining equipment to meet production standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple machine tools and related equipment to produce precision components.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure components meet specifications.
• Work with other production team members to streamline workflow.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Document production processes and results accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant technical qualification (e.g. N3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering)
• Training in lathe or CNC machine operation

Experience

• 3-5 years of machining experience

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment: Understanding of lean principles and practices.
