As a DevOps Engineer in Johannesburg, you will play a crucial role in automating and optimizing our development and deployment processes. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration of software solutions. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting will be vital in enhancing our operational efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to understand application requirements and optimize deployment strategies.
• Manage and scale cloud-based application infrastructure.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Ensure compliance with industry and organizational standards for security and quality.
• Analyze and improve system performance, including application response times and system uptime.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
