Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions. The role requires strong communication skills and an empathetic approach to client care.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments.
• Establish a therapeutic relationship with clients to foster trust.
• Implement evidence-based practices in therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Educate clients about therapeutic techniques and coping strategies.
• Supervise and mentor junior practitioners if applicable.
• Conduct workshops or seminars on mental health topics.
• Collaborate with social workers or other professionals in case management.

Requirements

Education

• Postgraduate degree in Psychology is preferred
• Specialisation in Clinical Psychology is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mental health services
