Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions. The role requires strong communication skills and an empathetic approach to client care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide psychological therapy sessions in individual or group settings.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Stay informed on the latest psychological research and best practices.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Engage in community education about mental health awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Postgraduate degree in Psychology is preferred
  • Specialisation in Clinical Psychology is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mental health services
