We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatrist to join our mental health team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions, implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients using standardized methods.
• Create treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of patients.
• Monitor and adjust treatments as necessary for effectiveness.
• Lead therapeutic groups and workshops focusing on recovery.
• Conduct outreach and education in the community about mental health.
• Develop relationships with patients to foster trust and openness.
• Regularly update treatment protocols based on the latest research.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in practice.
• Report on the effectiveness of treatment interventions.

Requirements

Education

• Medical Doctor (MD)
• Postgraduate training in Psychiatry or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in psychiatry
