Log Roller

Job Description

As a Log Roller, you will be responsible for moving and handling heavy logs efficiently and safely. This physically demanding role requires you to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy manual work, this position is for you.

Responsibilities

• Help train new workers on proper log handling techniques.
• Report any safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist with loading and unloading logs from trucks.
• Adhere strictly to all operational procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) in good condition.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required.

Experience

• Experience operating machinery and vehicles is advantageous.

• Logging Equipment Operation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in timber processing: Hands-on experience in a timber processing environment is advantageous.
• Forklift license: A valid forklift license is a plus.
