Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about design and development to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be involved in innovative projects that push the boundaries of engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in engineering design projects.
• Evaluate product designs for manufacturability.
• Implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• Manage timelines and budgets for engineering projects.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-engineering stakeholders.
• Conduct research and development for new technologies.
• Assist in patent applications and intellectual property considerations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Proven track record of at least 5 years in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Prototyping Skills

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
