Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Timing Device Assembler and Adjuster to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail and hands-on experience in assembling and adjusting precision timing devices. This role requires a keen eye for quality and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize precision tools and equipment to assemble and adjust timing devices.
  • Perform detailed inspections of completed work to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Work closely with team members to enhance production processes.
  • Assist in the development of production schedules to meet customer demands.
  • Keep up to date with operating procedures and contribute to process improvement.
  • Participate in training sessions for new manufacturing techniques.
  • Document and report any discrepancies in assembly processes.
  • Stay informed on technological advancements in assembly and manufacturing.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical diploma in a relevant field
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in tool sharpening or related fields
