Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients to help them achieve their highest level of functioning. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans that promote independence and enhance the quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs to inform treatment strategies.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on skill development.
  • Involve family members in the treatment process to enhance support networks.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting plans as required.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Certification in a specialized area of OT is beneficial
Experience
  • 4-6 years of clinical experience
