Job Description

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will focus on delivering high-impact training programs that align with our organizational goals. Your expertise in adult learning principles and effective training methodologies will help empower our workforce and foster a culture of growth.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve existing training programs to maximize learning outcomes.
• Act as a consultant to departments on training and development strategies.
• Manage the training budget to ensure effective allocation of resources.
• Encourage a culture of feedback to continually improve training quality.
• Promote awareness of learning and development opportunities within the company.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or similar field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in learning and development with a focus on adult education

Technical Skills

• Performance Management Systems
• Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Organizational Skills

Certifications

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Certification in Coaching: A certification in coaching is highly preferred.
• Experience in e-learning content creation: Proven experience in designing engaging e-learning content.
