Construction Manager

Job Description

Seeking a proactive Construction Manager for our Durban projects. In this role, you will oversee project planning, execution, and completion while ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met. Your leadership will drive project success and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Administer the project from start to finish, ensuring smooth operations.
• Oversee construction schedules and budgets.
• Monitor site safety and compliance with regulations.
• Engage with stakeholders to discuss project developments.
• Schedule tasks for different teams and supervise their progress.
• Manage contracts and ensure that all materials are procured on time.
• Compile reports on project status and financial summaries.
• Proactively solve construction-related issues.
• Ensure quality craftsmanship on all aspects of the project.
• Mentor and develop site staff and crew.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, including project management experience

• LEED Certification
