Log Graders and Scalers

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Log Grader and Scaler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our water resources in an environmentally sustainable manner. This role requires a strong passion for conservation and water management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations related to pond management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance ecosystem health.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on water quality and ecosystem status.
• Participate in community outreach and education initiatives.
• Assist in the development of sustainable management plans.
• Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data management.
• Conduct field tests and collect samples for laboratory analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental management or similar roles

Technical Skills

• Project Management
• Environmental Regulation Knowledge

Certifications

• Environmental Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in an additional South African language: Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language is beneficial.
