Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues for our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing user experience through effective support.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for technical support inquiries.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues regarding software and hardware functionalities.
  • Provide timely solutions ensuring minimum downtime for clients.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy while assisting users.
  • Track, escalate, and follow up on unresolved technical issues.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and conducting training sessions.
  • Provide feedback to improve product features based on customer interactions.
  • Utilize remote support tools to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
  • Work with internal teams to enhance user experience.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss challenges and identify potential solutions.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Information Technology or relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role or help desk environment
