Responsibilities

  • Assess applications for various types of insurance, including life, health, and property.
  • Make risk assessments and establish premiums based on thorough analysis.
  • Liaise with brokers and agents to gather additional information necessary for underwriting.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior underwriters and team members.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the organization's profitability.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance underwriting skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience
  • 4+ years of relevant underwriting experience
