Construction Manager

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a Construction Manager to oversee and drive construction projects in Cape Town. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will lead a dedicated team, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and budgets.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to designs.
• Review project proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Facilitate the resolution of site conflicts among team members.
• Ensure that construction materials and methods meet quality standards.
• Prepare expense reports and manage project finances.
• Enhance project outcomes through innovative solutions.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance on-site.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in construction management with a focus on residential projects.
