Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers, you will oversee the weaving process in our manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards. Your leadership will be vital in coaching a team of skilled weavers and optimising the use of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily scheduling of tasks for the weaving team.
• Ensure staff compliance with safety protocols and quality control procedures.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of machinery issues.
• Develop performance metrics to track efficiency and productivity.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
• Monitor raw material usage and waste to optimize resources.
• Ensure continual improvement processes are in place.
• Support management in strategic planning for the weaving department.
• Attend management meetings to report on production progress.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Textile Technology or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in textile production

Languages

• English: Fluent
