Job Description

We are searching for a Public Health Policy Analyst to join our team in Pretoria. This role involves analyzing health policies, conducting research, and providing insights to guide public health initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape in South Africa, experience in policy analysis, and a passion for improving public health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing health policies and propose improvements.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for health initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Promote best practices in public health policy.
  • Collaborate with external partners for research projects.
  • Report on health outcomes and policy impacts to senior management.
  • Support strategic objectives through innovative policy solutions.
  • Lead training sessions on public health policy issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Public Health, Social Science or a related field
  • Additional qualifications in Policy Analysis preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in public health or policy analysis
