Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our innovative team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of various therapeutic approaches and a passion for helping individuals improve their mental health. You will work closely with clients, providing assessments, therapy, and support around their mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose psychological conditions using standardized assessment tools.
• Engage in therapeutic practices tailored to client needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client treatment outcomes.
• Participate in case conferences and contribute insights on client care.
• Guide clients towards effective coping strategies and self-help practices.
• Document treatment sessions comprehensively for administrative and legal compliance.
• Conduct outreach activities to promote mental health awareness in the community.
• Assist in the development of mental health programs and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
• Post-graduate training in specific therapeutic modalities preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience with a focus on adult clients

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Mindfulness-Based Therapy
