Job Description

We are seeking an Inclusive Learning Coordinator to lead our special education initiatives in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of inclusive practices, aiming to support learners with disabilities and create approachable learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and professional development sessions focusing on inclusion strategies.
• Evaluate educational outcomes and adjust programs based on feedback and data analysis.
• Serve as a resource for educators seeking to enhance their practice in inclusive education.
• Engage with policymakers to advocate for effective inclusive education policies.
• Create a welcoming and supportive environment for learners with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with school leadership on inclusive education goals and objectives.
• Document and share best practices in inclusive education across the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Master's degree in Educational Psychology is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar role or in special education

Certifications

• Certified Inclusive Educator

Languages

• English: Fluent
