Job Description

As a Podiatry Teacher, you will be responsible for educating students in podiatry principles and practices. You will develop the curriculum, engage students in practical sessions, and foster industry connections to enhance learning.

Responsibilities

  • Create and assess course materials, including handouts and presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance course offerings.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in podiatry to update curriculum.
  • Supervise student projects and dissertations.
  • Promote an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff and students.
  • Utilize online learning platforms to enhance education delivery.
  • Lead initiatives to improve student retention and success rates.
  • Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in community outreach programs related to podiatry.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Podiatry or related field
  • PhD in Podiatry or Education preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in podiatry and 3 years' teaching experience.
