We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art aerospace technologies and lead projects that push the boundaries of flight capability.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and improve aircraft systems and components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on aerospace projects.
• Conduct simulations and tests to validate designs and systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Produce and review technical documentation and specifications.
• Participate in project planning and management activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Identify and resolve design issues during the development phase.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Master's degree is highly advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of practical aerospace engineering experience

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Annex 1 Compliant Processes

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Aerospace Engineering Certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with UAVs: Hands-on experience with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and their systems.
• Knowledge of Aerospace Materials: Understanding of advanced materials used in aerospace applications.
