The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing community health needs and implementing public health programs aimed at improving health outcomes. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to promote health education, disease prevention, and enhance community wellness.

Responsibilities

• Engage in community mobilization to improve health outcomes.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders and funding agencies.
• Conduct surveys and health research to inform program development.
• Manage communication and outreach activities for public health campaigns.
• Supervise interns and volunteers working on public health projects.

Advantageous

• Experience with health research methodologies: Proficiency in using diverse research methodologies for health studies.
• Fluency in an additional South African language: Preference will be given to candidates fluent in isiZulu or Sesotho.
