Job Description

We are on the hunt for a Warehouse Manager in Johannesburg to lead our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory management, ensure smooth logistics processes, and lead a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient warehouse operations aligned with company goals.
• Develop strategies for inventory management and waste reduction.
• Oversee the scheduling of warehouse staff and allocation of resources.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Analyze warehouse data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Organize training sessions for employees on equipment and safety.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and inventory availability.
• Lead special projects to enhance warehouse efficiency.
• Facilitate communication between warehouse and other operational teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Logistics are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in warehouse or distribution management

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent
