Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender

Job Description

We're looking for a Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our production team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh celery to meet our stringent quality standards and ensure an efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance checks on cutting and slicing equipment.
• Monitor product quality and report any deviations to management.
• Train new staff on safe machine operation and food handling procedures.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflow and improvements.
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus.
