Job Description

As a Health Informatics Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of transforming healthcare through technology. You will develop training programs and support nursing staff in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical information systems effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and implementing education programs focused on clinical informatics systems.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops for nursing personnel on new technologies and practices.
  • Monitor and report on the usage and effectiveness of training programs within the nursing department.
  • Engage with external vendors to assess new technologies applicable to nursing informatics.
  • Foster relationships with staff to encourage a positive learning environment.
  • Facilitate continuous education initiatives to elevate staff competency in informatics.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Master's degree in Nursing Informatics or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience and 2 years in health informatics or healthcare IT.
