Job Description

As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing medical care to animals at our Nelspruit facility. Your responsibilities will include assisting with examinations, administering medications, and supporting pet owners throughout the treatment process.

Responsibilities

  • Support veterinarians in clinical procedures and routine examinations.
  • Conduct health checks and administer treatments as instructed.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Educate clients about post-treatment care for their pets.
  • Assist in radiographic imaging and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Handle laboratory samples for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain clean and sterilized environment for surgery and treatment.
  • Help in emergency situations and provide first aid to animals.
  • Engage with pet owners to ensure a supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Veterinary Technology or related field
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician
