Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Town Planner to join our Durban office. This role will involve developing comprehensive planning strategies that align with community needs and sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in spatial planning, zoning regulations, and environmental assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning projects from inception through to implementation.
• Work with municipal departments to align planning goals.
• Research demographics and urban trends to inform planning decisions.
• Prepare budgets for planning projects.
• Mentor junior planners and interns on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies or Geography
• Master's degree in Urban Planning preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant urban planning experience
