The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities

• Assess risk factors in the workplace and develop strategic safety plans.
• Conduct safety drills and simulate emergency situations.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Support the implementation of occupational health programs.
• Facilitate safety workshops and training sessions.
• Review and analyze safety data to identify trends.
• Advise management on safety-related issues and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Higher Certificate in Safety Management
• Bachelor's or related degree is beneficial

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining sector
