Join our construction team as a Site Supervisor in Cape Town, where you will take charge of site management, oversee work quality, and facilitate communication among teams to ensure that projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all construction activities on-site while managing subordinate staff.
• Ensure site compliance with local building regulations and environmental laws.
• Plan construction schedules in collaboration with project managers to align with project goals.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential site hazards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and site diaries.
• Drive improvements in construction methods and workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to address design and construction challenges.
• Review and approve contractor invoices and manage site-related expenditure.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Construction Management or Project Management
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Science is an added advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of work experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry
