Job Description

Our organization is on the lookout for a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to lead our initiatives in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for driving community engagement, coordinating events, and fostering partnerships with local organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience in social work and a strong commitment to making a difference in the community.

Responsibilities

• Design outreach strategies to increase community participation.
• Manage logistics for events, including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Create partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
• Monitor and report on the success of community programs.
• Advocate for the community’s needs within the organization.
• Provide training and support to volunteers assisting with outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Public Administration
• Postgraduate qualification in a related field is preferred

• 4+ years in a similar role with demonstrated impact
