Stockroom Keeper

Job Description

The Stockroom Keeper will manage and organize inventory in a busy retail stockroom. In this role, you will closely collaborate with the store manager and sales team to ensure that all products are easily accessible, well-preserved, and properly labeled.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and assist in placing orders for replenishment.
• Maintain a clean and safe stockroom environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet daily operational goals.
• Identify discrepancies in inventory and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare reports on inventory status for management.
• Train new staff on stockroom procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Certifications in Inventory Management

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in retail inventory management

Technical Skills

• Barcode Systems
• Handheld Scanners

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Inventory Management: Preferred certification that demonstrates expertise.
• Forklift Certification: Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
